Why?

Why do a lot of people love wearing a mask on their face?
Why is it that a 5th grader school drop out claim that they are the smarter than an Oxford University Ph.D graduate? For God's sake, who would give you a decent job if you stopped going to school at the age of 11????? Why is it that a normal sailor claims that he's the President of the World's sailors' association? Why is it that a jobless person claims that they make thousands of dollars daily from their unknown skills? Why do these people have to brag and lie their lives out, so that others would believe them? Are they too dumb to realise that people out there are not stupid to believe the rubbish they are pouring out? Duhhh!!! How sad are they? How pathetic are they? It takes a rocket scientist to really know about a rocket science, similarly, it takes a professional to know well about the field they are in, not just any craps out there.

Why are there so many pretentious wannabes? What do they gain by bluffing their face off? Only idiots would buy their stories, the smart ones would just sit, listen with one ear and give a cynical smile...If you are not at par with others, just be yourself and people will respect you just by being you. I think, the world will laugh listening to braggers and liars and I honestly and sincerely feel sad for these people for trying so hard to make a name in this world by cooking up great noble stories about themselves.

Guess what- I may be listening, but I am giggling inside.

Enough said. Period!

The little golfer

This weekend is the last weekend of June, and we had plans for our Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, me, hubby and Daryn went to my MIL's place which is about 2.5 drive away (Ipoh). Syabil refused to follow because he has also picked up the same hobby as his daddy! hahahaha silly to see how a 3 year old boy could be so engrossed in that boring game. Since the day daddy came home with the golf set, Syabil has been so interested, he's been watching golf on ESPN channel!!!! Don't try to change the channel back to Disney- he would throw his tantrum. Who's the victims? Me and the rest at home. Arghhhh I really need another TV in the children's room, but the space is just too small, I don't think a TV in the room is a good idea.

While I was away to my MIL's house yesterday, Syabil was more than happy to be at home with my mom and sis. They took him to Toys R Us, bought him a junior golf set (toys), took him for ice cream later on and then to the beach to play his bubble gun- I bet he had a great time as compared to Daryn who cried her lungs out in Ipoh. She refused to go to her grandma there at all and was glued to her daddy all time.

This toy golf set is a lot better for Syabil since it's a lot safer. He loves to swing the actual golf clubs his daddy got and we are worried he might accidentally hurt himself and especially Daryn with a hard blow! Anyway, he's happy with this since it looks almost as real. :) He did complain about the accessories though- LOL. This morning, he woke up happily and took his golf set to play. He demanded his daddy to make a hole in the house compound and he also wanted a little flag next to the hole. LOL I bet, he's watching the golf games on TV all right! He even wanted gloves to hold his plastic clubs! <span class= Very cheeky!

The little girl seems busy as well, holding the club and walking around hitting the club on the ground! LOL

Hubby's new Hobby

It was all a big shock! Last 3 days, my hubby came home from work a little late than he normally does. Well, I thought it was the rain which causes the traffic jam- so I didn't even call him up to check on anything. Me and the kids were all at home watching TV, when hubby entered the living room at about 8pm- with his work brief case- nothing special!

As usual, we had dinner together and spoke for a while before he went out to the car. He said, he bought something and gave a little cheeky smile which made me stood there at the door waiting what possibly could he take out from the car boot!

I laughed so loud when he took this out! - the full set of it!!!!!

I meant it- the full set, from the full golf club set, golf balls, to towel to t shirt, shoes, gloves, shoe bag- just every little thing he needs for the game. Now, I wonder if what he bought looks like what a pro would buy when he's not even an amateur yet! hahahahahhahahaha really funny to see his enthusiasm!

I guess, this is going to be his new hobby.....Syabil seems to love it too, so hubby was saying, he might get a junior set for our little boy one day too....! I guess before Syabil sets his hands on the clubs, his daddy better be good at the game first! LOL

JACKPOT!

Yippppieeee.....Finaz got her US visa today!!!And guess who can you spot in Vegas as well? My DAD! Yup..he is going to accompany her to Vegas-meaning another 30 kilos of goodies can be carried to Penang! Both of them got tru the qualifying interview this morning and called me up blithely to inform the good news. No doubt- I was soooooo happy as well... huhuhuhuhu(Daryn...please grow up super fast!so that I can travel around the world without the hassle of putting you to sleep, feeding you, changing diapers and the list goes on).

Let me tell my dearest blogging friends why I was so occupied and not in the mood to blog:-

1. Of course it was due to Finaz trip to Vegas. Finaz was soooooo damn worried about the qualifying interview. She lost her appetite( poor girl...no improvement on her weight! The LARD is still 'glued' on her) . We were talking and discussing all the possible questions the embassy might interrogate and I was also checking million times on ALL the documents needed by the embassy. Unfortunately NONE were asked during the interview and it was just a casual conversation.

2. Busy browsing on the hotels in Los Angeles as my dad suggested that they will be spending a few nights there before flying back to KL.

3. Browsing on the shopping outlets. It's COMPULSORY-otherwise it will be a sin !!!! hahhahaha

4. My two apples - no escapade!

5. My hubby's new interest....will post a new entry on this.

BUSY BEE I AM HUH?

Happy Birthday mak

Today is my mom's 58th birthday. It's a double joy for everyone- on this special day, Finaz and my dad got their US visa too! Here's wishing you a Very Happy Birthday Mak :)

All my life you've been there
Any time and any where
When I was young
And even now that I am older.

I have always known
You've done the best you could
Circumstances change, lives change
But family ties are strong.

I want you to know how much
I respect what you have done
For me, for others,
And even for yourself.

When problems knock you down
You just slowly, steadily,
adjust your shoulders
And then move on.

Many others would give up,
On love and on life, but you haven't.
You've continued,
Stronger, calmer, and with determination.

That's what you are,
strong, loving, caring, and dependable.
And yet still more
You are my mom.

And we love you.
